Teaching has always been one of the most demanding jobs in the world, and one of the loneliest. A teacher walks into a room of thirty pupils, each at a different place, each needing something different, and is expected to reach all of them with the same lesson, the same time, the same two hands. Atakan Özkaya spent 5,000 hours as a private tutor watching exactly this gap: the pupils who thrived were the ones lucky enough to get individual attention. The ones who fell behind simply never did.
